This model is what it is. It's likely that because it is all resin and many are large thing pieces there will be warping in transit. If you are building this ensure you either own a heat gun or are comfortable with warm water process to work out warps. Invest in some greenstuff or epoxy to resolve issues with gaps in model that may appear due to warping. I'm very happy with the final result but this model is for experienced builders only, someone new without the right tools or supplies will struggle.

It could have been worse, honestly. I've heard terrible things about the original plastic+resin kit and it's possibly even worse here because it's recast plastic. After struggling to put the kit together, bending, heating, scraping, filling... it actually looks pretty good. Definitely get a heat gun for this one.

Really excellent renditions of these products. It is a notorious kit for issues, but they were innovative in their solutions, casting the pieces with strips of firmer material to keep them sturdy and resisting warping. It's never an easy kit, but they did a wonderful job.

This was absolutely awful. Started like any other cast, hot a water and soap wash. Then when you get everything laid out you start to see how warped and miss casted everything is. No doors fit, the hill doesn't connect. 20% of your model will be greenstuff, this kit is basically sculp your own storm eagle.

you have to know what your getting yourself into, its either going to be buildable or itll be terrain. if you order from here or FW theres a chance the model will be warped reguardless. that being said, hot water, rubber bands and a 2 part apoxy got me where i needed to be. a challenge for sure but a risk as well.

These guys are usually excellent, not this tome though. The cast is awful, the parts don't fit together even when reshaped in hot water, there are serious miscast and problems with mould slip to the point that this kit is just not viable. The engine blocks don't even remotely fit the fuselage and the mount for the tail fin is off centre by an easy 1cm meaning it's VERY noticeable. I've contacted these guys about it but had no response in over a month. Not good, an extremely poor quality re-cast

I've had a ton of luck with these recasts...
This one I wasted fifty+ bucks on though. It was insanely warped and I wound up busting it in irreparable pieces while attempting to repair it. Its already a mess of a kit, add on to that the intense warping of this mold. Skip it.
This is the first time I've had anywhere near this much of an issue from here, but it was really, really bad.

Again, like I said my review for the fire raptor, I was concerned about potential warping on the larger pieces or thinness of the material, but it’s perfect. Better than forge world for 1/3 the price.

Good cast and great packaging! Only thing is that some parts are warped and thin but this is eaily fixed so would recommend.

Some minor warping of large, thin parts which is typical of resin even from forge world. Crisp details down to the smallest features, and it even includes all the extra storm raven shared sprue parts, some of which I bashed into the cockpit for seats.
